NoteFlow Terms of Use

Last updated: 25 October 2026

Effective date: 25 October 2026

These Terms apply to NoteFlow and the features provided by the developer identified in the app's store listing ("we", "us"). Support is available at noteflowhelp@gmail.com. They should be read with the Privacy Policy.

By using NoteFlow, you agree to these Terms to the extent that this creates a valid agreement under applicable law. If you cannot validly agree, do not use the app without any authorization or guardian involvement required by law. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer, privacy, or other statutory rights.

Agreement to these Terms is not blanket consent to personal-data processing. The Privacy Policy describes automatic crash reporting and other service integrations; any separate consent required by applicable law must be obtained separately.

1. What NoteFlow provides

NoteFlow lets you create and organize notes, folders, and labels and use supported features such as reminders, widgets, local export/restore, and optional Google Drive synchronization. Some features require Premium. The purchase screen identifies the benefits and products offered for your device and region.

You do not need to create a separate NoteFlow account. Connecting an existing Google account for Drive is optional and does not create a NoteFlow account.

Features can differ across platforms, app versions, device capabilities, and operating-system permissions. A feature's availability on Android does not imply that the same feature is available on another platform. NoteFlow is a general productivity tool, not a substitute for a safety-critical alarm system.

2. License and acceptable use

Subject to applicable app-store terms and these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use NoteFlow on devices you are entitled to use. The developer and applicable licensors retain rights in the app's code, design, branding, and licensed assets. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licenses. These Terms do not restrict rights those licenses or mandatory law grant you.

Do not use NoteFlow unlawfully, interfere with its purchase or synchronization services, attempt unauthorized access, or distribute fraudulent versions of the app. Do not misuse third-party services through NoteFlow. You remain responsible for information you enter and for having rights to content you import.

3. Your content

You retain your rights in your notes and other content. We do not claim ownership of your note library. You authorize only the processing and transfers needed to provide features you request, such as storing notes on your device, showing them in widgets, or synchronizing them with your Google Drive. The Privacy Policy describes those operations; this clause is not permission for advertising or unrelated use of your notes.

Protect your device and connected accounts. Note text may be visible in widgets, reminders, notifications, exports, or on other devices connected to the same Drive data. Maintain separate backups for information you cannot afford to lose.

4. Premium purchases and subscriptions

Purchases use the payment system of the app store distributing your version of NoteFlow. Prices, billing periods, taxes where applicable, and offered benefits are shown during the purchase flow. RevenueCat helps verify purchases and manage access; it does not replace the store's payment agreement.

Manage or cancel subscriptions through your store: Google Play subscriptions, or Apple subscriptions for a version distributed through the App Store. Uninstalling the app, disconnecting Drive, or requesting deletion of purchase-service records does not cancel a subscription.

Buying Lifetime does not itself cancel a subscription that is already renewing. Check your store subscriptions and cancel any unwanted renewal separately. The price and offer shown in the store confirmation apply to the transaction; regional prices and available products can differ.

Cancellation normally stops future renewal rather than immediately ending the period already paid for, subject to store rules and applicable law. Refunds, billing disputes, and withdrawal rights are governed by the store's procedures and applicable consumer law. Contact support if access is missing; do not repurchase solely to recover an existing valid entitlement.

5. Restoring access and older purchases

Use Restore Purchases with the relevant store account to recover eligible purchases. Restoration depends on a verifiable store or RevenueCat entitlement and store ownership rules. A Google account used for Drive does not by itself establish ownership of a Google Play purchase.

Older NoteFlow purchases or donations may require assistance if their receipts cannot be restored through the current purchase service. Contact support with available purchase evidence and the customer identifier shown by the app. Legacy recovery is verification of an existing right, not a promise that every historical payment automatically becomes a new subscription or store product.

6. Google Drive synchronization, backups, and deletion

Drive synchronization is optional and requires the relevant Premium access, Google authorization, and compatible versions of the app. It operates on NoteFlow's application-specific data in your own Google Drive. You must be entitled to use the connected account.

Synchronization is not guaranteed to be immediate. Background execution, connectivity, Google service availability, device settings, and app versions can delay or prevent a run. Concurrent edits may produce a conflict copy. Changes, including deletions, can propagate to other connected devices.

Synchronization is not a substitute for an independent backup or a promise of permanent version history. Technical generations retained for reliability are not a guaranteed user-accessible restore archive. Local backup/restore can change the dataset that is later synchronized.

Disconnecting Drive does not automatically erase local or cloud data. To delete the entire synchronized library, first disconnect all devices and then remove the relevant Drive application data and local/exported copies as appropriate. A still-connected device can upload data again. See the Privacy Policy for retention details, including trash, deletion markers, conflict copies, and older snapshot files.

If Premium expires, supported paid operations such as Drive synchronization can pause. This does not by itself delete your local note library or cancel your Google account. Existing access, data handling, and feature restrictions remain subject to the product you purchased and mandatory law.

7. Third-party services and reliability

Google Drive, app stores, RevenueCat, Firebase, email applications, and device platforms have their own terms and availability limits. Their use through NoteFlow remains subject to those applicable terms. We do not control their outages, account restrictions, or operating-system scheduling decisions.

Using a third-party service does not remove our own responsibilities for NoteFlow under applicable privacy, consumer, or contract law. Provider policies explain the providers' practices; they do not replace our Privacy Policy or waive your rights against the appropriate responsible party.

We aim to maintain a useful and reliable app, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation, perfect synchronization, or that every reminder will fire at an exact time. Device permissions, battery restrictions, clock changes, and system failures can affect reminders and background features.

8. Updates, changes, and discontinuation

Updates may change features, fix issues, or require a compatible operating system. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes that affect paid benefits, these Terms, or data practices. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued statutory rights or justify charging for benefits already owed.

If a paid service is materially reduced or discontinued, applicable contractual obligations, notice duties, store rules, and consumer remedies continue to apply. Future pricing changes follow the store's disclosure and consent requirements. Continued use is not treated as acceptance where law requires a different form of agreement or consent.

9. Responsibility and mandatory rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NoteFlow is provided without a guarantee that it will meet every particular purpose or be free from errors. You should keep appropriate backups and avoid relying on it alone for critical reminders.

These statements do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer guarantees and liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other protected categories. No mandatory arbitration, blanket refund ban, or waiver of statutory data rights is imposed by these Terms. The courts, remedies, and laws required by applicable consumer-protection rules remain available to you.

10. Apple-distributed versions

If NoteFlow is distributed through Apple's App Store, Apple's applicable store terms also apply. Unless a separate custom EULA is properly supplied for that version, Apple's Standard Licensed Application EULA governs the application license. These service Terms are not submitted as a replacement for that standard EULA and must not conflict with its mandatory provisions or your statutory rights.

This section does not imply that an iOS version or every Android feature is currently available. An App Store release must separately complete Apple's purchase, privacy, metadata, and licensing requirements.
